After-Work Outing

After sitting in the shop all day while it was 70 degrees and talking to people that were heading out for most all of the day, I met up with Shaun and Hans on lower Rapid Creek in town after work on Sunday. After seeing them catch 3 fish just while I was walking up to them, I've been reassured that the fish in the creek through town are still alive and well. The water has warmed up, the BWO's and midges are hatching in good numbers, and the fish are in great shape and feeding well! A number of midge and baetis dries are good, and we did well on size 12-14 jig nymphs. Here's a few pictures from our afternoon out. Ryan image3image2
