Quick Tie Caddis

This high floating caddis is easy to tie and the fish love it. Ryan started tying this caddis fly pattern a couple of years ago after seeing something like it in Wyoming. Tie it with the body color to match the caddisflies on your stream. Tan is a good all around body color for most caddis in our are. Olive is another go-to body color for caddis fly patterns.

Materials:

• Hook: TMC 100 size 14-18
• Thread: Ultra Thread 70
• Abdomen: Tan Dry Fly Dubbing
• Wing: Tan Antron
• Hackle: Brown Dry Fly Hackle
