Dave Gamet of Dakota Angler & Outfitter ties the M-Wing Emerger. This pattern is an effective mayfly emerger pattern, that can be adapted to match many species of mayflies. The M-Wing Mayfly Emerger uses the Daiichi 1160 Klinkhammer Special hook. The shape of the hook allows the abdomen of the fly to hang subsurface like an emerging mayfly.
