Tying the F-Fly

Fly Tying Videos- Tying the F-Fly

How to tie a F-fly. A great, simple to tie dry fly. Don’t be fooled by this fly- it might look too simple to be effective, but it catches loads of fish. Great tied in Olive, Black, and Red. Tie this in sizes 16-22.

On this F-Fly the CDC looks long in compersion to what I have. Do you have the long CDC used on this fly? Let me know. Thanks for your time.. PS what is the cost?

Sorry for the late reply, just got back from out of town. We do stock the long CDC. Some of the best is from Europe. We like the http://shop.flyfishsd.com/products/petitjean-select-cdc-feathers from Marc Petitjean. The Beige color is a great all around color for midges and mayfly patterns. Works great on the F-Fly. Thanks- Hans
